What is a Knowledge Organiser?
A Knowledge Organiser is a single page document that lists the important facts that children should know by the end of a topic. It is the minimum that should be learnt, recalled and stored over time in the long term memory. You will see how this knowledge builds on the children’s learning from previous years, the wider context of how this knowledge will be delivered at the Merton and the key disciplinary skills that will be taught and developed alongside this knowledge.
