Welcome to your PTA
The Merton PTA is made up of a group of parents who help raise valuable funds and help our children to have a fun and fulfilling time whilst at The Merton Primary School.
We are very fortunate at our school to have a PTA that is an integral part of the school community. The money that we raise is spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and facilities at school.
The Merton PTA create a calendar of events which includes the 3 school discos – running these alone we need a minimum of 8 volunteers per disco. We are trying to vary our events, which include Easter Egg hunts, Rainbow Raffle, Bingo night and School Fete.
All of the events are ran by volunteers – there are lots of ways to help, from sharing news of our events, to being able to help at one of our events. All parents can get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available. We are always extremely grateful for any help that we receive, and we really couldn’t achieve all that we do without our volunteers.
